Project 405 refers to the flow of the movement, the road, and the motion; to the path, and to the road. It is through the journey along the road that human beings (re)construct the territory, understand, organize their environment, and, in short, discover. Developed in California during a fruitful 3-month home house swap of 3 months with a couple of artists. The name of the project points to the busy Interstate 405, which, passes through the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It is one of the most overcrowded highways in the world. Turbina Studio based in Barcelona, focuses on the creation of pieces, objects, and machines that contemplate the concepts of the cosmos and time.
