About Last Night (1986)

Semi-realistic comedy-drama which explores the ups and downs of one couple's (Lowe, Moore) relationship. Mostly quality performances, especially Perkins and Belushi as friends of the young lovers. Based on David Mamet's play Sexual Perversity in Chicago, but considerably softened so that more people would buy tickets at the boxoffice, the film acts as a historical view of contemporary mating rituals before the onset of the AIDS crisis.
