The AYNO lamp series is being extended with a wall-mounted version in two sizes.‎The dimensions of AYNO wall are based on the successfully established AYNO L and XL floorlamps.‎ Besides permitting flexible adjustment of the lamp’s height and direction, the new wall bracket also allows it to be swivelled to the left and right.‎ As a result, AYNO wall emits perfectly aimed, glare-free light over the sofa, coffee table, desk or dining table.‎Dimmable LEDTool-free exchangeable LED unit with bayonet lockTextile cable with dimmer switchLampshade: recycled ABS/PCWall bracket: steel, powder-coatedMade in Germany.‎With AYNO - the first design of a new midgard lamp since the 1950s, industrial designer Stefan Diez is testing the boundaries between the origin and status quo of adjustable lighting.‎ The draft seeks a formal as well as technical radical approach to the matter.‎ Central feature of the AYNO lighting family is a fiberglass rod, which is stretched to the bow by the luminaire cable.‎ The inherent tension of the rod allows a lamp without any joints.‎ By sliding the two adjustment rings at top and bottom, the fiberglass rod is bent into the desired position and the light is directed where needed.‎ The cable tightens the rod into an arc, of which the radius can be varied as required using the adjustment rings.‎ The fine adjustment is done with the swiveling lampshade.‎SUSTAINABILITY AYNO is one of the first LED lights that can be repaired by the user without tools: the light head or transformer can be replaced by hand using plug connections.‎ AYNO is largely made from recycled materials.‎ The three completely recyclable primary materials of the luminaire can be easily separated by hand for pure recycling without tools.‎ The use of semi-finished products avoids transport routes, since the standardized materials can be sourced from local markets.‎
