The steel pieces, once finished are transported to the studio to be photographed and cataloged via electric vehicle. Our desire is to sell these pieces as close to the point of manufacture as possible, however when we do ship these goods, we first look for carrier return loads. This means we contract with a shipper who is already passing through Denver, heading towards the customer. This allows shipping costs to be much lower and avoids fuel being expended for single loads.We chose to use Desserto cactus leather as well because it is made within 1000 miles of where we fabricate our furniture, keeping the footprint of our supply chain as small as possible.
