Canton Bench By Franco Raggi

A well-received sacrifice of ergonomics in favor of magnificent abstract aesthetic, this beechwood bench was designed by Franco Raggi in 1988. An exceptional addition to a contemporary entryway, it was born out of a graphic exercise whereby the designer draws a continuous black line to create two lateral squares connected through a horizontal line. The two squares are open compartments perfect for books and magazines while the horizontal line serves as the seat.
