Donkey Large Blue And White Container With Lid

Shaped like a donkey's head achieved using the coiling technique, this container is sure to bring an eccentric twist to restrained modern homes. The luminous white glaze on the vessel - snout included - and the vivid blue one characterizing the lid with ears-shaped handles result from a firing at 930° (majolica method) following the first firing at 960° to transform the clay in terracotta.
