Dream Ii

A tactile bas-relief composition inspired by the heavily textured ancient walls still found in parts of Europe. Weighty paper is applied to the canvas and molded by hand to create an undulating pattern. Layers of plaster further enhance the form, and finally sand gel and gesso embellishments are added to create the distinctive surface markings of time-worn architecture.
