Ella Serving Stand

Steady enough for pizza, light enough to carry to the table. Designed by Maurizio Lai for KnIndustrie, the Ella round stand is a study in minimal structure. Painted steel panels intersect at a single axis, with a circular top that seems to hover above the table. The surface holds a full cake or a family-size pizza without flex, its 11.8″ (30 cm) diameter offering generous space without overtaking the table. The small cut-out at the join isn’t decoration—it keeps the form visually balanced while reducing weight. In use, Ella works beyond cakes. It lifts a platter of tarts for serving, doubles as a riser for shared dishes, or anchors a casual table spread outdoors. When not in use, the crisp red finish adds a quiet sculptural note on a shelf or counter.
