This is a semi mechanical Ermisino fabric, similar to a shot taffeta. It is woven on an original loom from the 1850s. This fabric can be used for light upholstery such as drapery and pillows. The two colored silk gives a special “cangiante” effect as it changes its shades with the light. Its structure creates a "memory" as the fabric holds its shape, making it the perfect option for rich and opulent drapery.Art.
