Hummingbird – Woven Bird

A series of woven paper birds, created by a family tradition spanning three generations. Originally created by Danish architect Henning Holmsted in 1960, the concept for the Flettede Fugle bird has evolved over time to include a huge range of species. This DIY kit includes everything you need to bring your own woven bird to life. Apart from step-by-step instructions and separate paper parts, the box also includes extra components for the finishing touches and a handle that moves the bird’s wings, making it fly. The handmade paper parts are all made from glossy paper and will vary in color and finish. Choose your favorite design(s) from a comprehensive series that comprises birds from around the world, in vibrant or neutral colors.
