In Vitro Led Bollard

The In Vitro LED Bollard by FLOS is an airy, architectural design from Philippe Starck that draws on the classic combination of a glass globe that houses a visible lightbulb. Removing the lightbulb, this piece creates a voluminous space for light to fill, housing an integrated opalescent diffuser at the top of an open metal frame that a borosilicate glass shade is set within. Made from die-cast and extruded aluminum and treated with a chemical conversion process, the frame of this design is built to withstand the elements.
