Machu Picchu Terraces

Machu Picchu is believed to have been the private estate of the 15th-century Incan emperor Pachacuti. The Spanish conquistadors never found it.It was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983 and was voted one of the New Wonders of the World in 2007.
