Pioneer’s Modular Solutions receivers are designed for applications, often newer vehicles, with limited depth behind the dash that prohibits the installation of a traditional 1 DIN or 2 DIN receiver. This installation flexibility is achieved by physically separating the LCD touchscreen display from the single-DIN hideaway chassis that contains the processor, memory, tuner, amplifier, and all input/output connections. This allows the sub-chassis to be mounted in a different location (may require RD-RGB150A or CD-RGB150E accessory, sold separately) or a different horizontal/vertical orientation within the vehicle. The DMH-WC6600NEX Modular Solutions digital multimedia receiver features a 9-in. capacitve touch screen LCD and a single-DIN separate installation chassis. Use your smartphone and the Pioneer CarAVAssist app to customize your receiver’s home screen, register your favorite sports teams to receiver real-time game updates, and easily perform OTA firmware updates.
