“Surf No. 26” By Cas Friese

Taken in Malibu, California, in a spot with small swells and a shallows full of rocks, “Surf No. 26 - The Lone Surfer" (2018) captures the feelings of possibility and anticipation. Surfers are scanning the water, patiently waiting for the right wave to come. The image is printed on heavyweight cotton-rag archival paper using museum-grade archival inks. Each arrives signed, numbered, and ready to hang, in a white maple corner-splined frame complete with spacers, strainer, and French cleat. The 54" x 72" is an edition of 7, the 40" x 60" is an edition of 12, and the 30" x 40" is an edition of 24.
