A 6 in × 18 in walnut panel turns less than 3 in of wall depth into a full entryway command center. Designed by Ilan Rubin, The Control Panel couples FSC-certified walnut with a powder-coated steel face in beige, gray, or red. Four magnetized pieces—two small hooks, one large hook, and a slim shelf with stopper—slide anywhere along the metal surface to catch keys, mail, earbuds, or a favorite hat. A fifth, fixed hook at the base handles weightier gear like backpacks or market totes, while a round magnetic mirror pops on and off for last-second checks. The ultra-slim profile keeps tight foyers and apartment corridors feeling open; mount it at eye level and walk in with both hands full, snapping items into place without thinking. Need more capacity? Add extra Ilan magnetic hooks or swap the shelf position in seconds—no tools, no new holes in the wall.
