The Scissors

Inspired by vintage Western scissors, Japanese brand THE and designer Keita Suzuki have created a beautiful, well-balanced design that suits right- and left-handed users in equal measure. THE Scissors have a classic asymmetrical design, with both the handles and the blade specially formed to enhance grip and cutting efficiency. Furthermore, the manufacturer uses both traditional metalworking techniques used for Japanese swords and new technology to craft each pair of scissors from forged stainless steel. The blades have an angle of 45 degrees and are manually inspected to ensure their perfect finish. As a result, these scissors cut with precision and suit a variety of tasks, from detailed work to creative projects and everyday needs. All THE Scissors are made in Japan and come with a Paulownia wood box, ready to give as a gift.
