'Tumultuous Trigg Tides', Resin, Acrylic And Oils

A Talitha-Anastasia Marco original, 'Tumultuous Trigg Tides', is a representation of one of Perth, Western Australia's most loved surfing destinations, Trigg Point. An often tumultuous and un-predictable tide, sees surfers battle the seas for the perfect wave. Trigg Point is not to be underestimated as Talitha represents in this art work, the rip-tides are strong and can pull one under in a blink of an eye. The clashing of two separated tidal pools in this piece, represent the many hidden tides throughout Trigg, with an uneasy and perhaps 'violent' display of turquoise darkened and pulled throughout the canvas. Subtle pink and violet hues are also melded in between the harsher blocks of turquoise seas, softening the sometimes unassuming calamity of the popular surfers destination.
