Bhakati Jute Rug

To create Bhakati's layered textures, artisans hand braid natural jute, then loom the braids into a chunky basket weave. The natural character of the individual strands of jute, paired with the unique touch of the weaver's hand, produce a rich patina of pattern and shading in each rug.
