Handwoven rug in wool.‎ Originally 'khadi' is an essential, minimal and 'raw' woven fabric in cotton, silk or wool .‎ For Warli 'khadi' is a woolen rug, woven on a loom in a sequence of textures and colors, with different dyed and undyed wools.‎ Colors KH|01 (ecru | light grey | brown | beige)KH|02 (ecru | light grey | brown | grey green)KH|03 (dark grey | light grey | green | teal)KH|04 (ivory melange | beige | light brown | light grey) Technical informations Quality: Handwoven 'dhurrie' carpet, wool.‎ Thickness: 7 mm approx.‎ Weight: 2,5 Kg/sqm approx.‎The configuration (size + color) must be completed to obtain the final price of the product.‎Dhurrie is a form of hand weaving very similar to “kilim”.‎ It is made up exclusively of warp and weft, woven and not knotted.‎ It is also called “flat weave”.‎ The pattern or design is created solely by the weft which covers the warp.‎ It does not allow for complicated patterns or textured surfaces as the other techniques do.‎ This may at first appear as a limitation.‎ But we have evolved the original technique by introducing additional threads to the basic wool weft (low-pile).‎ The pattern is produced by this secondary high pile in viscose.‎ The carpet is backed with the same latex and cotton canvas method as the hand tufted carpets.‎
