Silhouette Rug

Look closely at the Silhouette Rug (2020) and you'll see nine faces, located at different angles. Designer Jaime Hayon placed these imaginary characters that way so that no matter where in the room you are, at least one will be smiling, shyly glancing, or making silly expressions at you. The faces, chain-stitched into the 100% wool floor covering, also have eyes rendered in different colors and shapes; perhaps a sly nod to famed surrealist -- and fellow Spaniard -- Joan Miro. The flat-weave Silhouette is suitable for residential and commercial use. It also may be hung on the wall. Part of the Hayon x Nani collection. Made in Pakistan.
