85% wool, 15% cotton in Alabaster. Rug thickness: 0.2". Hand loomed. Shedding of loose fibers is normal with new wool rugs and a natural result of being handcrafted. Shedding will diminish with regular vacuuming, typically within three to six months. No backing. Rug Pad recommended (sold separately). Made in India.
