Beautiful, high quality rug in 100% New Zealand wool and pure silk, handknotted by our skilled Indian artisans.The rug 'Shadow', designed by Atelier Barberini & Gunnell, is made of over 150,000 knots/sqm. The abstract pattern is kept in white silk, while the background is in white New Zealand wool. For a better distinction of the pattern, the pile height between silk and wool is slightly different giving it a three-dimensional design. The original rug was designed to match our sculptural tables 'Bangles' or ' Chained up' by Atelier Barberini & Gunnell (you can find these artworks in our 1stdibs storefront). It is called 'Shadow' as it reflects the leg structure of the table as if it was its own shadow thrown on the flooring underneath.Dimensions: W 300 x L350 cm.Colors and dimensions are customizable. Leadtime: 4-5 months depending on the size.
