The famous "Clover Grill" is iconic in the Big Easy and can even be seen in the movie "This Property is Condemned" starring Natalie Wood some 40 plus years ago. Everyone's favorite quirky Bourbon street diner, Clover Grill is famous for more than their self proclaimed "World's Best Hamburger" and as a mom and pop world renowned restaurant but also where Benjamin Button glimpses Elizabeth Abbott's victorious swim across the English Channel at age 68 as he dines with Daisy. The original building at 900 Bourbon St was a Creole Cottage built in 1825 and Clover Grill has been serving up round-the-clock meals since 1939. Their quirky menu reads things like "If you're not served in 5 minutes, it may be another 5. Relax. This isn't New York City." "Dancing in the aisles only. Please keep off the tables." "We're here to serve people and make people feel they are prettier than they really are." And, true to its Bourbon Street location, the menu includes the adjuration "No strange tricks at tables, please. Please keep hands on top of the table. No talking to yourself." The history of Clover Grill is as welcoming as everything else you love about this city. The smell of hot gumbo and crawfish cooking in the windows, music fills the streets and the Southern charm exudes into the air like time stopped there with those mouth-watering hubcap covered cooking mounds of what a burger used to be.This image features the front window of the one of a kind Clover Grill at night when the real character of the iconic restaurant comes alive. The scene was photographed in the French Quarter of New Orleans, one of the most fascinating cities in the world.Image captured by the renowned photographer and artist Mark PritchardUnique filtering and diffusion techniques produce vibrant colors and enhance the iconic image for a truly unique piece of art.Mark Pritchard Artworks uses only Ultrachrome HD inks which possess a wide and rich color range allowing us to display vibrant and accurate colors when applied to the canvas for a stunning reproduction of the artwork.Only the finest tested and true lightfast inks are used for the artwork which will are not damaged by the sun or fade over time.Mark Pritchard Artwork uses only the finest quality canvas that is treated to be UV, moisture and abrasion resistant allowing for the prints to be in direct sunlight or cleaned with a lightly damp cloth without worry of damage.Prints are expertly stretched onto the highest quality poplar frames to eliminate warping.Proudly Made in The United States
