I love that these doors have the old Spanish rod iron details. These doors are actually very heavy and the wood is very thick. I can imagine these doors being the front entryway to a home located outside the property. They would look wonderful is garden gates or as interior French doors. Originally somebody had added a solid panel behind them to give the look of solid doors but I think it makes these doors more prominent as architectural elements rather than solid doors. These doors were salvaged out of a 1920 Spanish style home that was adorned with beautiful Spanish elements throughout the entirety of the house.
