Splendid armchair with footrest, model 401, designed by Menilio Taro for Cinova in 1964. The set is distinguished by a refined design that combines high-quality materials typical of 1960s Italian modernism. The frame is made of curved plywood. The armchair base is made of painted steel, while the footrest is equipped with wheels for easy movement. The bouclé fabric upholstery, like the padding, is new, preserving the characteristic original button-quilted workmanship. The armchair measures 90 x 80 x 75 cm, while the footrest is 44 x 67 x 50 cm. The 401 armchair was featured in important publications of the time, such as "La rivista dell'arredo" in April 1964. The armchair has been restored, although the wooden parts show some signs of age, indicative of its use. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
