Brazilian Design Set, consisting of an armchair and footrest, designed by Sérgio Rodrigues and produced by ISA, Italy. The Sheriff Armchair was created by Sérgio Rodrigues in 1961 as an adaptation of the Mole Armchair to participate in the Cantù International Furniture Competition in Italy. After winning the prize, the piece sparked the interest of the Italian manufacturer ISA (Industria Salotti e Arredamenti), which began producing it and named it Sheriff for marketing in the European market. The name was inspired by the armchair's imposing appearance, associated with the authority figure of a sheriff. This collaboration helped to project Sérgio Rodrigues onto the international design scene.
