The first prototype of this reading armchair had large "ears" at the top of its backrest, like most traditional bergères.During the prototyping process, the designers decided to cut off these ears to give the set a lighter and more contemporary feel. Simultaneously with this gesture, the name of the armchair also emerged: Vincent – ​​In remembrance of the similar act performed by the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh who, in 1888, in a fit of rage, cut off part of one of his ears.Thus, the Vincent armchair was born, with reduced proportions and extreme comfort, its geometry focuses on the essential and allows the application of one or more different fabrics, opening up the possibility of countless combinations of colors and textures.It also comes with a small pouf/ottoman that can be used together with or independently of the armchair.
