Cute Louis XV style armchair that will make any small room feel cozy and feminine. I tend to think that it was made in the 1940s as I compare with chairs that have similar carving patterns, but it may be older (family heirloom). I am not able to identify the wood species, maybe you can tell looking at the grain and the stain color (rather blonde) on the pictures. Condition is very good, though the upholstery needs to be clean to reveal its beauty. I find it quite delicate and unobtrusive. Please refer to my detailed notes on the condition of this chair.
