The eye-popping fabric on this chair comes from our Casa de la Rioja collection and is imported from Spain. The design features a stylized peacock on a steel blue background. We fell in love with this fabric, but then it took us forever to find a chair with a balloon large enough to show off the full length of the peacock! This 19th Century chair is a Victorian interpretation of a Louis XV fauteuil. It has diminutive cabriole legs with subtly carved embellishments on the knees. The apron and balloon frame also feature similar carved embellishments. The casters are new replacements. We have covered the seat and arms with a black linen to compliment the Spanish fabric in the large balloon. The chair measures 41 inches high with a seat that is 16 inches high. It is 26 inches wide and 25 inches deep.
