Real French Louis XV style side chairs with a Victorian twist, circa 1880. They feature newer hand painting in satin-glazed light celadon green over the original paint. The seats, arms, and button-tufted backs are upholstered in the original oxblood velvet with nailhead trim. It also has the original front casters and carved details on crest rails and aprons. From a Parisienne salon set, there are no maker's marks. Overall, these are in excellent vintage condition. Closeups are of companion pieces for color clarity.
