Antique 18th century Chippendale mahogany ribbon or pretzel-back arm chair circa 1790. Wonderful shaped stiles and legs. Beautiful carving throughout. Measures 37 3/4" tall x 22 1/4" across the front x 19" deep. Good condition with pleasing old surface. The upholstery is old and torn and will need to be changed. Scattered loss of finish from use could be darkened with polish. A beautiful example.
