French or englisch carved chair, 19th century. abundantly carved with shells and flowers. The shaped arms end in a scroll or snail. The carved paw feet or flower ends are connected to an x-frame stretcher with a carved support. The chair has been re-upholstered, the colors change nicely in the light.
