This 20 century high yoke back armchair has a back splat with nicely carved Buddhism symbols of peace and protruding crest rail. The restoration is intentionally kept to the minimal. The well-aged original finish leaves beautiful patina all over this chairs. The high yoke back armchair was also commonly called 'Official Hat Chair' because of its resemblance to the wing-like brimmed government official hat. A pair is available and will be outstanding as accent chairs of a living room.
