Gorgeous 19th century French Antique throne chair / armchair in the Renaissance revival period with hunt / black forest scene. Fully hand carved from European oak with marvellous patina. The back rest displays 2 birds and floral leaves and branches. Richly decorated with barely twisted rods. The arm rests are carved lion heads. Very large high model that looks most impressive as a piece of art & functional piece of furniture. New upholstery in off white cream & ready for years of use. A piece to be treasured and passed on to future generations.
