Antique 19th century beautifully decorated mahogany chair found it's way to us through a friend that decided she wanted to clean house because she was moving to Kentucky. The chair belonged to her mother-in-law which she had brought from Germany (home town) in the 1920s. Of course, when she asked if I wanted it I took one look and promptly accepted. It's delicately detailed with pearl inlays supported by splats on the back and arms sitting on tapered legs. Silk quilt upholstery on the seat with an extra pillow and option use the silk quilt or turn it around and show off the floral tapestry on the reverse side. It's a one of kind. Enjoy it.
