Super rare pair of Antique French Louis XV style armchairs with the original painted finish to the frames and fully restored leather upholstery Well what can I say, this is the finest pair of French Louis XV armchairs available for sale anywhere in the world today, the have the all important original patina frames, period paint like this can't really be replicated, it takes honest age and genuine use to give it this look and feel The leather as mentioned has been fully restored to include having the chairs stripped back to the frame, they were then upholstered in Premium Italian cattle hide leather, the leather is fully aniline which is untreated and natural, this is way more expensive than pre-dyed leather, the hide has been held in place with period antiqued brass tack nail studs and both chairs have new feather filled cushions.
