These chairs originated in Paris, France. I purchased these Parisian Salon Chairs from an antique dealer iI knew in Houston, Texas. She purchased in Paris. The fabric is a cotton green and gold and in the style of Fortuny. These chairs are made with walnut, brass wheels. There are two of these chairs available. They are identical. I believe there is still the white muslin underneath the upholstered fabric. The chair is incredibly comfortable and fits your body exceptionally well.
