Gebroeders De Wit pair of armchairs. Schiedam, The Netherlands, 1960s. Great pair of white faux leather armchairs by Gebroeders De Wit from The Netherlands. On first sight a straightforward sixties design, but if you look further you''ll see a very delicate and stylish chair. There are interesting details to be found, like the convex backrest, the upholstery which curls at the end, the elegant metal frame and the nicely shaped bakelite armrests. In great vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
