A classic tubular steel chair in the Art Deco style of the 30s. The armchair comes with a dark green cover made of imitation leather and a frame made of chrome tubes, which have been doubled in the armrest area. The seat cushion has slight signs of wear on the seat, but offers good seating comfort. It has been reinforced with a leather attachment at one of the rear corners to protect it from the metal frame. The back cushion is in very good condition. The chrome frame shows a slight patina, but has a beautiful shine. The armchair is attributed to the US designer Gilbert Rhode and the Troy Sunshade factory in the USA, which manufactured several of these models. Produced probably in the 1930s.
