Set of two Bauhaus style cantilever S411 armchairs designed in the 1930s by Willem Hendrik Gispen and manufactured by Mücke Melder. These iconic armchairs feature lacquered wooden armrests and chrome-plated tubular steel frames. The pieces have been fully restored: the wooden elements were refinished, and the seats reupholstered in a high-quality fabric with a geometric pattern echoing Bauhaus and mid-century aesthetics. The chrome remains original, showing a beautiful patina consistent with age and use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
