Hugues Steiner bow Wood armchair of the 1950s. This quality seat consists of a structure in bent beech. Its base is worked with a single piece of curved solid wood which comes to form the armrests. The seat is lined with red imitation leather in excellent condition. This armchair recalling the design of the Baumann house has an avant-garde and refined silhouette. Hugues Steiner (1926-1991) During his career, Hugues Steiner distinguished himself by his exceptional and prolific work. It is known for its creations of furniture and design objects, often inspired by organic forms and nature. Hugues Steiner received numerous prizes for his work, including the National Grand Prix of Graphic Arts in 1988 and the gold medal of the Academy of Architecture in 1999.
