Early and classic Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern armchair designed by Danish designer Ole Wanscher for Fritz Hansen Denmark in 1942. Marked with "FH" stamp and the original makers labels with model number and production date. Elegant chair with curved armrests and open spindle back. Very high quality craftsmanship and impressive details. Frame in beautiful patinated solid mahogany. Seat has been re-upholstered in a golden yellow velvet fabric. Very comfortable. A timeless piece of Danish Design that will fit in any style or interior. Very good condition with patina consistent with age and use like small mark on the legs. Re-upholstered. Wood has been cleaned and treated. Ready for use.
