A very elegant yet comfortable armchair that looks great in both the dining room and the living room – designed in the 1950s by the renowned danish industrial designer erik buck (book). his designs are characterized by a simple, organic aesthetic, often combining fine wood (teak) with natural upholstery fabrics (wool). due to its shape, and also its use on the royal danish yacht, the chair was nicknamed the "captain's chair." the chair was manufactured in denmark by r. Skovgaard jensen, ørum. It is listed in the online archive of the design museum danmark under the name "model 66." under the family name "skovgaard jensen 1903," the chair is now produced again under the name "sj.67" in a similar form and material composition. the chair is in its original condition and has been gently cleaned and treated with a nourishing oil. there are minor signs of wear consistent with the chair's age: typically, there are slight signs of use on the armrests and minor scratches on the chair legs. the fabric has only slight discoloration. the fabric is similar to ral 1015 – light ivory. dimensions: width 61 cm (armrests) / width 57 cm (legs) height 79 cm seat height 45 cm depth 57 cm i have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
