A very elegant yet comfortable armchair that looks great in both the dining room and the living room – designed in the 1950s by the renowned danish industrial designer erik buck (book). his designs are characterized by a simple, organic aesthetic, often combining fine wood (teak) with natural upholstery fabrics (wool). due to its shape, and also its use on the royal danish yacht, the chair was nicknamed the "captain's chair." the chair was manufactured in denmark by r. Skovgaard jensen, ørum.
