We are delighted to offer this stunning early 19th century elm hoop back west country Windsor armchair with traces of original paint I have two other pairs of these chairs listed under my other items which are smaller A highly coveted, well made and decorative armchair, in the traditional elm, this is an early hoop back version, it has old repairs to the arms, they have had metal rods fitted either side as you can see. The frame has moved throughout the centuries as standard.
