A pair of antique French needlepoint arm chairs from the early 1900’s. Depicting two back patterns, one floral and the other of a dancing couple, these two chairs are a clear complement to one another. They display hard carved details, needlepoint upholstery, and brass nailhead accent studding along the seat, back, and arm of each chair. Beautiful wood with slightly varied color for each chair is utilized, giving a taste of unique character to each. One chair exhibits antique inner spring cushioning and the other shows evidence of more modern interior cushioning and support.
