Found in England, this pair of mahogany and leather captain’s chairs date from the early 1900s. Mahogany frames have straight, tapered legs with turned details on the arm and back supports. Curved backrests and leather seats with oversized brass nailhead trim. Unknown maker. Leather seats show staining and wear - see photos. Brass nailheads show patina and tarnish. Frames show scattered surface wear. Sold and priced as a pair.
