Easy Chair By Kho Liang Ie For Stabin-Bennis, 1970s

Chairish

$1,581

Black Kho Liang Ie chair designed for Stabin-Bennis, Woerden in 1968. Kho Liang Ie continued to search for new techniques and materials. For this armchair from the Stabin program, he used a new upholstery technique in which the filling and upholstery are welded together and then pulled over the wooden seat shell as a flexible unit. It resulted in this chair with a clear line. The condition is still good with original imitation leather upholstery. There are no holes or tears in the upholstery, there is a small bump on the corner (see photo). Material: chromed metal, wood and imitation leather (skai). Dimensions: h x w x d = 73 x 54 x 57 cm and the seat height is 43 cm. Marked: Stabin Woerden. Source: Book Kho Liang Ie, publisher 010, pages 49 and 95. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
