Elephantino is a chair with a metal base and plastic seat, also suitable for outdoor use.‎The first chair with a shell made of post-consumer recycled and recyclable plastic, Elephantino is the latest addition to the Elephant family, Kristalia's bestseller designed by Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher.‎ The polypropylene shell with armrests recalls that of the small armchair, echoing the characteristic reinforcing ribbing of the leather version, inspired by the spine of an elephant.‎ The closed shell can be fully or partially upholstered.‎ Both versions are available with four legs, wooden base, sled, swivel trestle or with castors, five spokes with castors.‎ The chair with four legs or sled is also suitable for outdoor use: in this case the shell can be fitted with a water drainage hole.‎ Interesting shades, bright but desaturated: a feature due to the special composition of the plastic.‎
