Beautiful pair of English style armchairs made in the 1950s in a beautiful brown velvet. The armchairs have 4 feet to support the seat: the two at the back are made of a beautiful, durable dark wood, with a sinuous, square shape; the front ones have an initial frame of moulded wood, with a final brass insert in patina with castors, allowing easy movement of the armchairs. Moving upwards we see the actual seat structure: there are two armrests that form a typically English square curl, while the seat is made with a velvet cushion, identical to the backrest, which is higher and has a semi-oval shape. The armchairs are suitable for elegant environments and high-class reading lounges. The brown velvet armchairs are in original and very good vintage condition. Brass in patina. Slight wear consistent with use and time.
