Listing is for a nearly antique English Tudor armchair or throne. Elaborate twist columns with spires flank the chair back and the seat has carved flowers. Each of the arms depicts a hand carved young girl clutching a blanket. Partial label on underside indicates it was retailed at Lammerts of St Louis. Based on my research, I would say it’s 1930s and the wood is oak.
